企業を取り巻く経営環境の激変の中、近年内部監査の重要性が認識されるようになり、内部監査人の能力の証明に対する要求が高まりました。こうした状況から、ＩＩＡの日本代表機関である日本内部監査協会（IIA-Japan）では、1999年11月より世界水準の資格であるＣＩＡ試験の「日本語」受験を実現しました。
ＣＩＡ（Certified Internal Auditor－公認内部監査人）は、資格認定試験に合格し、実務経験等の要件を満たした者に授与される称号です。ＣＩＡ資格認定試験は、内部監査人の能力の証明と向上を目的とした世界水準の認定制度で、世界約80ヶ国で同時に実施されています。現在、世界各国で68,000人以上のＣＩＡが、企業をはじめ多くの組織において活躍しています。
内部監査人の唯一国際的な資格であるＣＩＡの称号は、業務に精通したプロフェッショナルとして経営者の信頼を得て、21世紀のグローバル社会を勝ち抜くための、最良の資格です。

1.資格認定条件

ＣＩＡ資格認定には、次の資格認定条件が必要です。
適格要件 （１）教育要件：以下のいずれかに該当すること（受験申込時に最終学歴の卒業証明書を提出）
  1. 四年制大学の卒業の方
  2. 大学・大学院の在学生（大学の場合、３年生以上）
  3. 大学・大学院の教員
  4. 上記1.2.3の要件に該当されない場合は、実務経験1あるいは2において、2年以上を満たしている方。(この場合は、申込時に実務経験証明書の提出が必要となります。)
（２）推薦（受験申込時、または全4Part合格後に推薦状を提出）
受験者は、高い倫理観と専門職としての適格性を示さなければなりません。CIA、CCSA（内部統制評価指導士）、CFSA（公認金融監査人）などの認定資格の保持者または上司等による「推薦状」を、受験申込時、または全Part合格後に提出しなければなりません。
（３）実務経験（受験申込時、または要件を満たした時点で証明書を提出）
CIAとして認定されるためには、全Partに合格した方のうち
  1. 内部監査・監査役監査・外部監査、品質評価・リスクマネジメント・コンプライアンス・内部統制にかかわる業務のいずれかの実務経験を2年以上お持ちの方。
  2. 会計・経理・法務・財務のいずれかの実務経験を2年以上お持ちの方。
  3. 会計・法律・財務・経営に関する修士取得者は実務経験1年分に充当されます。取得証明書を添付してください。
  4. 監査・会計・財務・法務に関する4年以上の教職経験は、実務経験2年分に充当されます。
試験問題の秘匿 IIAでは、１９９７年１１月以降、試験問題・解答・点数配分について、一切公開していません。
また、CIA受験者も、試験当日、IIA試験のための非開示契約と一般使用条件の条項に同意することが求められます。
同意されなかった場合、試験はそこで終了し、受験申込登録は無効となり受験料は返金されません。
倫理綱要の遵守 ＩＩＡの「倫理綱要（推薦状の裏面をご覧ください）」を遵守しなければなりません。
継続的専門能力開発制度 CIA資格保持者（および合格者）は、内部監査の基準、手続、技法に関する知識と技能を最新の状態に維持するために、合格後、2年間で80単位（年間40単位）のCPE（継続的専門研修）が必要です。詳細は、「CPE継続的専門能力開発制度ガイドライン」をご参照ください。


2.試験内容

* 出題数は各Part共100問、試験時間は各Part共2時間45分です。
* 解答用紙は、択一式のマークシート方式です。
* 問題は世界共通の内容です。
* PartⅣの受験については、QIA(内部監査士)、ＣＣＳＡ（内部統制評価指導士）、 　ＣＦＳＡ（公認金融監査人）、公認会計士、ＡＩＣＰＡ、ＣＭＡ、ＣＩＳＡ等の資格保持者に免除の特典があります。

3.受験料と提出書類

受験言語について 日本国内での受験については、受験言語を日本語および英語から選択できます。但し、一度の受験で選択出来る言語はどちらか一方だけとなります。

*登録料の有効期限は、最終受験から2年です。それを過ぎた場合は、再度、登録料をお支払いいただくことになります。
受験費用計算例
  1. 今回初めての受験で、４Part全てを受験される、一般の方
    登録料￥8,400＋各Part受験料＠￥17,850×4Part＝\79,800
  2. 今回初めての受験で、PartⅠのみ受験する、学生の方
    登録料\4,200＋各Part受験料＠\11,550×1Part＝\15,750
  3. 既に１Part合格済みで、今回３Partを再受験する、一般の方
    各Part受験料＠\17,850×3Part＝\53,550
  4. 繰延受験の場合、次の通り (いずれの場合も、繰延登録確認書のコピーを添付のこと。)
    (例4-1)繰延したPartだけを受験する場合には、差額受験料￥6,300を記入のこと。
    ⇒前回Part I を繰延し、今回Part I を受験　→　受験料\6,300
    (例4-2)繰延したPart以外のPartも受験する場合には、追加した分のPartの受験料＋差額受験料を記入のこと。
    ⇒前回Part I を繰延し、今回Part I とPart II を受験　→　受験料￥24,150
教員・学生の受験料優待制度と必要書類
次に該当する方には登録料・受験料の優待制度があります。
大学・大学院の教員 登録料と初回の受験料が優遇されます。

2007年11月度に繰延手続きをされた方へ
  1. コンピュータ・ベース・テスト（ＣＢＴ）へ移行するに伴い受験料が改定されるため、繰延されたPartの次回申込の際に差額受験料（Part毎に￥6,300）が必要になります。
  2. 2007年11月度より繰延をされた方は、改めて受験申込の手続が必要です（自動登録はされません）。
  3. 2007年11月度に繰延をしたPartの申込有効期限は2008年12月末日（消印有効）までになります。

・ 初回受験者は、教育要件確認のため、受験申込時に卒業証明書の提出が必須
・ 卒業証明書・推薦状・実務経験証明書の提出は１回のみ
・ 再受験専用申込書はありません。再受験の方は、ID No.をご記入の上、受験申込書をご利用ください。
・ 既に「卒業証明書」、「推薦状」、「実務経験書」をご提出の場合は、CBTにあたり再提出の必要はございません。
＜2008年3月卒業(見込を含む)の方へ
～学生受験料(初回のみ)の適用期間延長のお知らせ～ ＞		 CBT（コンピュータ・ベース・テスト）の導入において、当初予定していた試験開始時期が、2008年2月から2008年5月に変更になったことに伴う特別措置です。
申込パート数（１Part、又は複数Part）にかかわらず、2008年6月末日までの初回申込時に限り、優遇受験料の適用対象となります。
申込されたパートの受験有効期間は、申込時から180日間になります。
(なお、全パート合格された後、CIAとして認定されるためには、２年以上の実務経験が必要になります。）

4.PARTⅣの受験免除

下表に掲げた資格を保持している方は、以下の要領にて申告手続をしていただければ、Part Ⅳ の受験が免除されます。

  • 申込書の保有資格該当欄に記入する。
  • 申込書と共に各資格の認定を証明する書類の写し（認定番号記載の書類）を事務局宛に送付する。
  • 管理費（一般\17,850 学生\11,550）を免除申請時に併せて支払う。

5.試験結果

試験結果の発表について 採点は、Partごとに行い、得点は２５０から７５０ポイントのスケールドスコアに換算されます。合格ラインは各Part共６００ポイント以上です。合格したPartについては、ポ　イントは通知されません。不合格のPartについてのみ、ポイントと学習の扶助となるようにポイントについての評価コメントと併せ通知されます。試験結果については、　すべて郵送によりご連絡いたします。電話などの問い合わせには一切応じられません。住所変更があった場合は、資格試験係までご連絡ください。
合格Partの有効期間について 各Partの合格については、1Part以上に合格後、2年以内に他のPartを受験しなければ、既に合格したPartは無効となります。しかし、この間に受験した場合は、既に合格しているPartについても、最後に受験した年月から更に2年間有効となります。
